What you can do
- Channels — public or private rooms by team, project, or topic
- Direct messages — private chats with one or more people
- Threads — reply in context without cluttering the main channel
- Calls — start voice or video from a DM or channel
- Activity — mentions, reactions, pins, and bookmarks
The sidebar lists channels (often grouped in sections), DMs, and activity feeds.
